POUET
This project aims to quietly build a habitat as an extension of the place in this regenerated cultural landscape. In tune with the vernacular wisdom that civilized him; in essence sharing with biodiversity; harmonies, the rhythm of the natural seasons and their resources efficiently and in a circular way. A regenerative experience, integrated into the context and its atmosphere; at the same time contemporary, hopeful and perfectible.
The intended continuity and inherence (consubstantiality) without nostalgia of our performance in this setting, dotted with honest vernacular “booths”, linked to the landscape by generations of farmers among their crops. It led us to associate various volumetric units, evocative of that model and its passive strategies to temper and contain everyday intimacy, recreating the severe anonymous, protective, simple, private and immutable humility of those, in the landscape. Strategically arranged in a dispersed manner to generate dynamic intermediate, fluid and informal spaces. Open to variable spatial sequences, shared with movement, place and time.
From the rural road, the entrance and its interior routes pass through the interstitial voids between the massive volumes, a luminous “gorge”, connected to the deep and open towards the ethereal, where brief footprints float staggered to favor routes and transparencies between its four levels. interiors and exterior.
A glazed gallery, attached to the larger volume, with which it shares the ground floor and its southern façade, signifying and qualifying a versatile social space, immersed in the landscape and selectively exposed to the seasonal comfort of its resources.
Pouet aims with its contemporary forms, materials and spaces, with telluric echoes, timeless, local and eternal; sensitize reflections of hidden sensations (kairós). Expressive and contained construction materials with mineral, earthy, metallic and organic textures qualify emotional, essentially placid environments of reflection and catharsis, intentionally oblivious to the accumulation and presence of the underlying, sophisticated active strategies responsible for their high level of comfort.
Through old passive strategies and innovative, efficient and effective technologies (collection, regeneration, storage of resources and shared energy production…) we will synchronously monitor data on indoor comfort, outdoor climate and consumption, both to apply them empirically in our projects, and to share quantitatively and publicly “online” not only sustainability, but also the “positive” and regenerative impact of our plan on the natural environment.
Pouet participates in our organic “Pla Verd”, with the aim of jointly reaching the highest level of the rating system for buildings and crops that respect the natural environment, along the paths of regenerative economics, architecture and agriculture, to globally achieve the Carbon capture objective. Implemented a series of principles, management and design shared with biodiversity, to improve environmental quality, health, well-being and the cultivation of nutritionally healthy products.
